Khayaal is an award winning charitable British arts enterprise dedicated to the dramatic interpretation of wisdom texts for the stage, screen, and radio. It was founded in 1997 and aims to produce wisdom-orientated entertainment from classic Muslim world literature.

Hearts & Minds

A 40 minute production for senior schools and colleges, this play explores what it means to be young, British and Muslim today. A moderated discussion of key issues is highlighted. The play is based on extensive consultations and conversations with young British Muslims and is inspired by actual events.

Our sexuality is not only physical and emotional but an essential part of our spiritual existence and energy. This 6 day group is structured as a journey into sexual awakening and the flowering of this energy into divine sexuality. Some people are afraid to come to a Tantra group, but Croydon Hall would like to clarify that even though we work with liberating sexual energy in this group, we do so in a respectful way, remaining considerate of people’s vulnerability around intimacy. Sexual union between group members is not part of this group structure. In this group 5 stages of sensual awakening are explored. The first phase is self love. The second phase is same sex bonding. The third phase is heterosexual relating. The fourth phase is intimacy.  The fifth phase is Sacred Sexuality, which arises if one has deeply lived the other phases of development. .During the process, the group live through these stages, rewriting their life script in a positive way, using Tantric meditations, rituals, group exercises, dance and psychodrama.
