Inter-Denominational
A Lay Canon of Chester Cathedral manages this retreat centre which consists of two elegant Georgian houses, now joined, which are situated in a quiet corn near the Chester Cathedral. There are sitting room, s a god library and a large and well maintained garden. Both dining room and meeting rooms plus disabled lavatory are on the ground floor and plans are being made for a lift and ensuite rooms for better disabled access. While groups use this centre, individuals are welcomed and, very often last minute bookings for a room are possible- so it is worth a try if you suddenly decide that a a few days away for some interior meditation and time alone are what you need.
