Set in eight acres of secluded gardens beside a river, Clare Priory remains behind its walls in the same solitude and quiet that it has enjoyed for centuries. Now it is place to share the daily routine of the Augustian friars and the lay community. Private or guided retreats for individuals and groups are available as well as a regular programme of retreats and events. Spiritual guidance is also available by arrangement.
