Hexthorpe Manor may be the place for you. A new and supportive way of living awaits you at Hexthorpe, Doncaster. Living at the Manor for up to 2 years, you would build your skills and confidence, getting ready for independent living. Hexthorpe Manor is an extension of the work of Holy Rood House, a therapeutic centre in Thirsk ( see below). With a gentle Christian ethos, and open and inclusive policy Hexthorpe Manor invites people for short residential semi-self catering retreat, day groups and long term residential community space for young adults following recovery from trauma or illness. A Professional Counselling Service is also available. A few minutes ride from Doncaster Station brings visitors through an inner city area to Hexthorpe Manor, overlooking parkland and close to the River Don. This lovely home provides a warm welcome from a community of hospitality, also offering inclusive church, theological reflection, creative arts, and spiritual direction. Visitors needing residential therapeutic support will be referred to Holy Rood House, just one hour away.
