This isolated and large stone house, hidden away from roads and the busy world, is comfortable, cheerful and overlooks a marvellous lake. There are magnificent views to the Black Mountains and superb walking. The guest lounge is large and comfortable; the library small but good, and the dining room offers home cooked meals with the fellowship of the other guests. The new Chapel of the Transfiguration has daily prayer and weekly worship.

Open: All year except Christmas-New Year season. Receives men, women, young people, families, and groups. 

Rooms: 2-6 singles, 11 doubles. 

Facilities: Disabled. Conferences, garden, library, guest lounge, payphone, direct dialing. Children welcomed. 

Spiritual Help: Personal talks, group sharing, meditation, spiritual direction. 

Guests Admitted to: Unrestricted access except for the kitchen. Chapel. 

Meals: Everyone eats together. Traditional food. Vegetarian and special diets by arrangement. 

Special Activities: A small but rather nicely considered programme with such courses as Creative Arts Music and Prayer Retreat, an Ash Wednesday Retreat and a walking & talking retreat. Send for brochure. 

Situation: Very quiet, in the countryside in a lovely situation.
