A conference and retreat centre where people of all faiths and none are welcomed. There is lots of room here, including a youth wing with self-catering. All of it is situated in some 18 acres of grounds, overlooking open countryside. The Centre is fairly booked up by parish groups because they are geared to group bookings - but it is a good place for a family to go on retreat. Individuals of any denomination are welcome who wish to spend time on a retreat here with or without guidance. 

Open: All year except August. Receives men, women, young people in Youth Wing which is self-catering, families, groups, religious, and non-retreatants for study purposes. Mainly receives group bookings.

Rooms: 40 singles, 2 dormitories in Youth Wing. Self-Catering house for 10 people. 

Facilities: Disabled possible in ground floor room. Conferences, garden, guest lounge, TV, book shop, payphone. 

Spiritual Help: Personal talks, group sharing, personal retreat direction, meditation, Indian Christian Spirituality. Handwork such as painting and calligraphy are used with prayer which can be very helpful in opening the heart to God. 

Guests Admitted to: chapel, church and choir.

Meals: Everyone eats together. Traditional food. Vegetarians, special diets. Guest house available self-catering for holidays and retreat group. Indian meal on request. 

Special Activities: Planned programme of events. Calligraphy, Painting & Prayer Retreat. Send for brochure. 

Situation: Very quiet, in a village and countryside. Maximum Stay: 2-7 days.

Charges: From £45 per person per day full board. Charges are negotiable according to circumstances such as unwaged or students.
