Anglican – Inter-Denominational
An old Victorian house tucked away behind this pretty Northumbrian village, Shepherds Dene nestles in extensive grounds – with its own medieval labyrinth in the style of Chartres Cathedral. It offers a variety of Quiet Days and creative spirituality retreats as well as space for non-guided personal retreats. Warm and homely, with its own chapel this is a centre that caters strongly for groups. Individuals are welcome, however, when there is space and there may be room in the self-contained Lodge – especially if you are seeking greater independence.
