Open Spirituality The aim of Silent Presence is to create an experience of Being in the Present Moment during the retreat. Becoming familiar with the still and silent inner space in which our life unfolds, we can rediscover the peace and joy that so often eludes us. On these retreats you are first introduced to the basics of Breathwork and Focusing and how they can be helpful when you are in silence. A Silent Presence retreat offers suggestions but does not tell you what you must do nor insist on a certain form of meditation. It is about sensing in your body for what is appropriate for you in the present moment. A large part of the retreat is in silence with alternating periods of sitting and walking meditation.
