St Katherine serves people living in the area through teaching, spiritual ministry and social work. The retreats and conferences offered here in the past have been wide-ranging, relevant to modern living, and interesting, but you must ask for the current programme as the place is having a huge major rebuilding and will reopen during 2004. All rooms will be ensuite then. 

Open: All year. Receives men, women, young people and groups. Rooms: Lots and ensuite when reopened. No smoking. Disabled. Conferences, garden, library, guest lounge, guest telephone. 

Spiritual Help: Personal talks. Spiritual direction. 

Guests Admitted to: Chapel. Gardens. 

Meals: Everyone eats together. Traditional food. Vegetarians and special diets. 

Special Activities: None. Situation: Reasonable quiet in a city. 

Maximum Stay: By programme or arrangement. 

Bookings: Letter, telephone, fax or email. 

Charges: Ask for rates when you contact them or see new programme. It will be probably between £40 - £50 per 24-hour period full board. 

Access: Two minutes from Limehouse DLR Station which connects to London Underground.
