Anglican

The Community of the Sisters of the Love of God
was founded in 1906 and is an Anglican religious community for women.

A doorway to prayer

Through a life of prayer the Sisters seek to serve the glory of God and to participate in Christ's reconciliation of the world.

We gather in chapel at set times during the day to worship together through the recitation of the Office and the offering of the Eucharist. We also have times for solitary prayer in our own rooms.

As well as welcoming guests to the Convent we have a small publishing department, SLG Press (www.slgpress.co.uk).

We are open throughout the year, with the exception of a few weeks, the time of which varies.
